Day to Day

Well it has been awhile since my last blog post and I thought an update would be fitting. Life is crazy. Everyone has a crazy life and sometimes it is just difficult to keep up with things that need to be done. Between school, work, coaching, and everything else I do I lost myself. I lost track of my goals and let myself go. YES this is normal. YES this does happen. Everyone loses track of their goals. This is why I write blogs, this is why I coach. I wouldn't be human if I stayed on track 24/7.

Things were going good. I started the 21 Day Fix Monday 2/17. I worked out Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Healthy eating also. Then Friday came. Yep Friday, The weekend. I felt so rushed that I forgot to workout, didnt eat right. Hell I only ate once a day. If it wasnt for Shakeology being my second meal I wouldn't have nearly what I needed in my system to keep going. I know that isn't healthy. I know that I need to get food into my body to nourish myself to reach my goals in the timely fashion that I want. I need to continue to push myself and reach forward to my goals.

Weight-loss and the journey to being healthy is a day to day obstacle. I struggle the biggest with healthy eating. That is why I am so baffled as to why I haven't been exercising. I love to exercise. This morning I cut it and I put my workout clothes on and got it done. I felt amazing after. Today I have ate healthy all day. I am hoping to be strong and to keep up with it.

The 21 Day Fix is so key to this. It gives me meal ideas, it gives me portion sizes. It is honestly what I need. All I need to do is stick to it and keep my head up. Temptation is the hardest part. I will be going to Dave and Busters this weekend. That is going to be extreme temptation. I am however already planning out my meals. I am going to put my containers in my purse and measure out everything.  Being prepared is what is going to save me! I know it is. In the first 4 days of the Fix I lost 5lbs and I was even bloated at the time! AMAZING! I will keep up with it and I will stick to it.

My ambition is not only to be healthy for myself but to be healthy for all of you! Being a coach is a very important priority to me. I am here for all of you to see me accomplish my goals. I am here to help you accomplish your goals! I have faith not only in myself but in each and every one of you. So let's pick ourselves up, lets be strong, and lets move forward and get working on us!

What is being a coach and Why is it beneficial?

Being a coach is so more than what it seems.  You don't have to be in the best shape of your life, you don't have to know everything, all you have to do is try and to put your best food forward and want to help people. I decided to be a coach in October. My coach had asked me and I didn't believe I was coach material at all. I mean look at me. I am no where near my goal, I have a lot of work to do to get there, I am not perfect at all. What made me perfect was I was sharing my results and encouraging people that they could do whatever they put their mind to. I was showing others that it is possible to get to your goals and it is possible to lose 100+ lbs. It is possible to help others see that they are worth their effort and their needs and wants are important.

I started my weight loss journey long ago. My biggest issue is food. I have a problem twith overeating and with eating healthy. Everything that is not good for you I am known for loving. Being a coach helps keep me on track, knowing others are looking up to me and wanting me for guidance keeps me pushing forward. When my coach told me I was perfect for being a coach and should try it out, I was extremely hesitant. Hell I was nervous. How am I supposed to help others without even knowing how to help myself. My coach told me to just sign up and the rest would take care of itself. I was showing my photos, I was encouraging others and really that is all it takes to be a coach. All you have to do is want to help others!

I have always helped others. I work in healthcare and I am one of the few who actually enjoys my job and doesn't complain or hate it. I love my job, I love helping others. Coaching isn't about who has the most, or who can do this or do that. Coaching is about who I can help, and who I can influence to make the changes they actually want in their lives. Do you like and want to help others? If so coaching is for you! In no way do you need to perfect. All you need to do is try.

One common misconception is that coaching is a get rich scheme. That is a lie. A BIG LIE. Can you make a living off of it, sure you can but it takes time. It does not happen overnight and it isn't an  automatic guarantee.I have been doing FREE coaching since October. I did not sell anything at all. I hosted free monthly challenge groups and helped people get up and get moving. I have helped a lot of people and that is what is important to me. In order to make money in this business you have to prove to others that you want to help them, that you believe in the products, and that you are always going to be there. People need to know that you will be there for them and that you won't give up on them. I will never give up on anyone.

Coaching is very beneficial to the coach also. Why? To me it brings me joy knowing I am helping someone. To hear their stories of success and know when they say thank you for helping them, that gives me a sense of personal accomplishment. Another reason coaching is beneficial to the coach is because they are a support system. they may not know it but they are. Being a coach you get to talk about your personal difficulties and accomplishments, which in turn, helps others. It is a win-win situation.
